Beginning Arabic I

Catalog description

An introductory course designed for students with no previous experience using Arabic. Emphasis is on the ability to write, read, speak, and understand simple Arabic through a variety of activities. Upon course completion, students should be able to comprehend and respond with grammatical accuracy to spoken and written Arabic at a beginner's level as well as demonstrate cultural awareness of the Arab and Islamic world, including from a Christian perspective.
