Catalog description

This course addresses anthropological theory in a historical context and explores how the discipline has developed over time. Theories of cultural anthropology are primary, though archeological, physical, and linguistic anthropological theories are discussed. Understanding human behavior from a cognitive, material, and behavioral approach throughout historical and modern anthropological inquiry is centralized alongside a consideration of a distinctive, Biblical worldview.
