Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of Human Resource Safety Management, tracing the evolution of workplace safety and examining the causes and impacts of occupational accidents within a global context. Students explore legal frameworks such as t he Occupational Safety and Health Act, along with the human factors influencing safety, including ergonomics, stress, training, and workplace violence. The course culminates in applied strategies for hazard assessment, risk prevention, and the development of a safety -first organizational culture through effective management systems, ethics, and emergency preparedness.
