Catalog description

This course develops students' ability to collect, calculate, interpret, and present data in healthcare settings. Topics include hospital -based statistics such as census data, length of stay, mortality rates, and bed occupancy, as well as descriptive and i nferential statistical methods. Students also examine research design principles and evidence - based practice, applying spreadsheet tools to analyze and communicate findings for administrative and quality improvement purposes.
