This course delves into the critical aspects of security operations, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to defend modern networks. You'll learn how to analyze system and network architectures for security vulnerabilities and identify indicato rs of malicious activity in various scenarios. Through hands -on exercises, you'll utilize industry - standard tools and techniques to detect and respond to threats, differentiate between threat intelligence and hunting, and implement effective vulnerability management practices. Furthermore, the course covers incident response methodologies, emphasizing preparation, handling, post -incident activities, and the crucial role of clear communication and reporting in both vulnerability and incident management.
