Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of corporate finance. Students will learn how to record, classify, and summarize financial transactions, apply the accounting cycle, and prepare basic financial statements. The course also covers key topics such as inventory methods, internal controls, and accounting for receivables and long-term assets. Emphasis is placed on understanding how accounting information is used for decision-making in business environments. This course provides a strong foundation for students pursuing an associate’s degree in accounting and entry-level accounting roles.
