Catalog description

A survey of central events, figures, teachings, and Christian Life from the New Testament to the present. The course will focus on the key events, ideas, and individuals in the history of Christianity, with a view to understanding how they have influenced and shaped the Christian movement throughout history, and today. Students will attempt to see how the past influences the present, and what (if anything) Christians have learned over 2000 years of putting the gospel message into practice and form.
