Catalog description

This course will attempt to explore the diverse ministry contexts with rigorous theological reflection in the rapidly and radically changing context. Context is central to doing theology and doing ministry. Context understood as not human/divine context makes one to see the comprehensive dimension of context as well the transforming power of the context. In this course, students will be guided to read and articulate the cultural and socio-political distinctiveness of their ministry contextual settings through a postmodern and postcolonial lens. Students will be equipped to engage in their ministry contexts and leadership settings with Lutheran, Liberation and Contextual Theologies, with a special focus on Evangelism and Justice.
