Catalog description

The Capstone is a junior year experience that enables students to transition to a profession or graduate school and continue to pursue life-long learning and social responsibility. The capstone experience is designed to demonstrate proficiency in the Baccalaureate Competencies and in the content/skills of the program/major requiring interdisciplinary and contextual perspectives.The capstone projects reflect the synthesis of knowledge, skills, and abilities developed over the course of a student's learning experience at Cal Lutheran. They include reflections, personal statements, oral presentations, original literary expressions such as poetry, oral histories, installation art, murals, photography, performances, research presentations, online teaching and learning, films and videos, multimedia works, and more.
