Art of Christian Listening

Catalog description

Taught by SFTS. This class is the foundation course for the Art of Spiritual Direction programs; it also satisfies a requirement for DMin PSL students. It invites students to deepen the sensibliities and skills appropriate to the practice of contemplative listening. Students will begin to explore the spiritual and theological bases for the practice of contemplative listening and living and begin to reflect on their application for spiritual direction or other ministry settings.
