As members of the PLTS community, we pray, study, worship, reflect, read, and live on top of a hill. In this group we will experience how not to take this "for granted," by experiencing (in body and spirit) that all of these gifts come with some effort. As a practice (with a long tradition in history of spirituality) we will reflect on encountering the divinity through the painful-and rewarding-process of climbing the mountain (literally). The group will meet at the Seminary, will walk downhill and then walk/run uphill. We will also reflect on the importance of doing it together, as a community, cheering each other up. Required for MDiv, MTS, MCM degree, and CATS students. [5 max enrollment per section]
