This interdisciplinary course uses a social constructionist perspective to explore some major issues in contemporary gender studies: cultural constructions of femininity and masculinity; how sex, gender and sexuality impact social institutions like education, religion, politics, law, economics, and health care; feminist and critical theories and concepts. (cross-listed with WOMS 210)
