Catalog description

TAUGHT BY GTU-BST. In an introductory course, students combine reading(s), sensory critical analysis of ethical messaging in the works of contemporary spoken word / music / prose. Using a womanist ethical lens, students will explore theoethical intersections in the genres for practical application to ministry. Interactive discourse / audio visual resources are used to examine words of specific artists and societal res ponses to a survival ethic of self-care and self-love found in the cultural genres. Moodle/ Voice Thread used to create interactive presentations with classmates and faculty.
