Catalog description
This course introduces the study of religion. It pursues questions concerning the interpretation of sacred texts, the nature of God, and the relationship between God and humanity. It invites students to consider both how religion informs their own identity and how religion shapes contemporary public life. With selective focus on the Christian tradition, additional religious traditions may be included.
