Catalog description

Essentials of Statistics is a course introducing students to collection, plotting, and comparison of data sets, histograms, descriptive statistics, the frequency definition of probability, random experiments, random sampling, normal variables, confidence intervals and tests of hypotheses for normal parameters. This is a required course in: Criminology and Justice Studies, Organizational Leadership, Psychological and Behavioral Science, and Strategic Communication.
