Catalog description
The practical goal of Intermediate Algebra is to lay a solid foundation in concepts of mathematical thought and techniques that are used in any future math courses at CLU. Additionally, this course seeks to develop methods of thinking and logic that can extend to non-mathematical topics. The content consists of operations on real numbers and an introduction to functions, followed by identifying, graphing and solving equations involving various types of functions, such as linear, quadratic, radical, exponential and logarithmic functions. This mathematics course is for students in the Bachelor's Degree for Professionals program.
