Physical Science for Liberal Art Majors

Catalog description

An introduction to physical science that includes a basic understanding of forces, conservation laws, energy transfer, and other selected physic topices, as well as topics in basic chemistry focused on matter and its interactions. Students participate in the scientific method, making predictions and observations to build models of everyday physical phenomena. Class format is equivalent to 3 hours lecture + 2 hours lab per week.
