Taught by DSPT. This course considers the range of doctrinal, pastoral and spiritual issues that informed the life of the Christian Church in the Patristic period. Emphasis is on the Greek Fathers with some consideration of selected Latin and Syriac Fathers. We will use historical, intellectual and literary tools to develop skills to read and interpret Patristic texts critically.
