Catalog description

Taught by DSPT. A lecture on late 19th and 20th century philosophy: idealism, pragmatism, phenomenology, hermeneutics, existentialism, analytic philosophy, structuralism, postmodernism, deconstruction and leading criticisms of the same. The lectures are designed to give an overview. Lecture/discussion. There will be a short mid-term and final exam (non-comprehensive) and a term paper. Intended audience: MDiv, MA/MTS, PhD/ThD.
