Taught by GTU. This course will explore the major writings of Emmanuel Levinas, with a special focus on the philosophical context of this work and the writings on Jewish texts and themes. Course readings include Levinas's masterworks Totality and Infinity and Otherwise than Being, as well as Radicalizing Levinas, a collection of political writings on Levinas's ethics.
