Research Writing for Professionsls

Catalog description

English 310 introduces students to the critical thinking, written communication, and research practices required to succeed in their major and in professional environments. This course introduces research writing as a problem-solving activity, and critical analysis of business and/or social science scholarship to gain an understanding of research writing practices in these fields. Professional writing style and effective drafting/revision strategies are also discussed. This course is three credits and is a prerequisite for PENG 311 in the Bachelor's Degree for Professionals Program. Graded A - F.
