Catalog description
This course considers the dynamic interplay between culture and psychology, examining the ways in which culture shapes mental processes and behavior. Students will analyze psychological theories and principles across cultures and gain a deeper understanding of variations in cognition, perception, emotion, development, and socialization. Through lectures and discussions, students will develop and strengthen their cultural competence, enabling them to navigate and interact effectively within diverse cultural contexts.
