Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of various counseling and therapeutic approaches while encouraging students to develop their own perspective as future counselors. Through lectures, discussions, and practical activities, students will analyze and evaluate a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including psychoanalytic, behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic approaches. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to formulate their personal values, beliefs, and therapeutic style, thereby developing a foundation for their career as mental health professionals. By the end of the course, students will gain insights into the diverse approaches to counseling and therapy, as well as a deeper understanding of their own potential as counselors.
