This course is designed for Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) students seeking to develop advanced skills in grant writing and policy writing, with a focus on securing funding and influencing policy in the complex and fiscally challenging landscape of California. The course will equip students with the tools and techniques needed to craft compelling grant proposals and policy documents that resonate with stakeholders, funders, and policymakers.Students will learn how to identify and pursue funding opportunities, navigate the intricacies of California's budgetary constraints, and develop strategies to maximize resource allocation.
