Catalog description

This course examines the principles and practices of organizational leadership. Students will evaluate foundational leadership theories as well as contemporary theories (for example transformational, authentic and servant leadership). While viewing leadership through a broader organizational context, students will analyze topical issues which may include power, ethics, gender, and innovation. Additionally, students will analyze the interactions of personal and organizational factors in determining leadership effectiveness.
