TAUGHT BY CDSP. ONLINE COURSE: This course explores John's Gospel by examining its contexts, purpose, view of Jesus' identity and works, theological message and contemporary relevance. A comparison of the Fourth Gospel with the Synoptic Gospels will help reveal the distinctiveness of John. The interpretation of selected passages will help identify ways in which the revelation imparted in the life of Jesus, interpreted for Johannine community, speaks to our situations today.
