Taught by CDSP. ONLINE: This course explores the parables of Jesus in their historical, cultural, and literary contexts. We will study specific parables determining the critical theological themes in them and their various meanings. Also, we will address the questions of how the parables fit into the teachings of Jesus and later into the teachings of the early church and fathom the significance for the church today.
