Catalog description

This capstone project course takes place toward the latter part of the MSM program. The heart of this course is a research project in which enrolled students study in-depth a question or problem dealing with an advanced aspect of broadly defined management or entrepreneurship and recommend strategies to improve the current situation based on evidence-based studies and their considered opinions. This course builds on the academic work and learning experiences already encountered by MSM students in the MSM program. Students enrolled in this course are expected to have already completed a majority of core MSM classes. The sources for work undertaken in this course are broad and diverse, including one's own professional experience, other study tours in the MSM program, and, not least, a student's own inherent individual study, exploration and curiosity. Identified and supervised by a School of Management faculty member.
