This course is designed to provide students with an appreciation of how management and leadership theory is integrated into the strategies of the modern corporation. The theme of the course is; Management Decisions in a Dynamic World. Corporate business theory is replete with quantitative models and concepts of rational decision processes. However, practitioners must balance the theoretical and economic merits of any action against both the political and organizational consequences of the decision. Actual strategic issues and decision-making processes are much richer and more varied than business texts could possibly capture
