This course will explore how Financial Technology (or "FinTech") is disrupting the financial services industry. This includes providing students with an understanding for how FinTech is driving fundamental changes in business models, products, services, and customer experience. Among the significant technological trends disrupting financial services, the course will explore artificial intelligence (AI), deep learning, blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and open APIs. Students will gain an understanding of the key technologies, market structure, regulation, financial disintermediation, and the dynamics of change being brought about by FinTech.
