Leadership and Teamwork Essential

Catalog description

This course is designed to enhance student knowledge of, and competency in, leadership and teamwork. Detailed areas of focus will include, but not be limited to, change management, project management, effective listening practices, public speaking, interpersonal communication, and team dynamics. This course also offers different perspectives on topic of leadership, with emphasis on development of personal and professional skills that support effective leadership and teamwork in challenging situations. The course allows entering MBA students to determine their own leadership and teamwork strengths and limitations, and to set plans to address their limitations throughout their time in the MBA program and beyond.
