Reformed Worship

Taught by SFTS. This course is designed to introduce students to the nature and practice of worship and the sacraments in the Reformed Tradition. Worship and the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper are studied biblically, historically, and theologically, as well as in contemporary settings. Worship ad pastoral issues attendant to the celebration of weddings and funerals are examined. Skills necessary to leading worship effectively are rehearsed. Preparation for the PCUSA Ordination Exams included in lectures and discussion materials.
