Catalog description

This course defines and provides a context for designing, teaching, and assessing students in the areas of visual arts, music, and drama/movement education. Using discipline specific knowledge, methods and theories emerging educators bridge theory and praxis as they learn to apply arts education throughout the elementary school curriculum. Emerging educators will learn to design learning, organize arts focused events, and engage their students with the arts communities locally, nationally and interntaionally.
