Taught by GTU. Technology is becoming a central component of teaching theology and religious studies, from replacing components of traditional classroom instruction to providing lifelong learning. This hands-on course explores key issues in course design and new modes of course delivery, including online and hybrid/blended classrooms. Students will learn about content delivery, collaboration, community formation and assessment. Students will walk through the development of a technologically-enhanced course for their particular disciplines, produce a portfolio of resources for future use, and write a final paper. The course developed during the semester may be used to partially fulfill the requirements of the doctoral comprehensive exams at the discretion of the exam committee. [Primarily for doctoral students; auditors and MDiv or MA students at the discretion of the instructor.]
