Taught by JST. COUNSELING PRINCIPLES AND PASTORAL CARE FOR VICTIMS OF TRAUMA This course will explore the experience of trauma, including its cognitive, behavior and spiritual consequences. Counseling approaches will be presented for assisting persons touched with traumatic experiences - sexual assault, intimate partner violence, childhood or elder abuse, political violence, etc. Case studies and role-playing will augment theory and counseling principles. Class meets two Saturdays, 2/23/2018 and 3/9/2019, from 8:30am to 5:00pm in JST 216.
