Catalog description

In this course, we will learn mathematics by modeling social justice scenarios. All of the math covered in the course will be introduced in the context of applications to social justice. In addition, will learn about different social justice contexts and be able to make quantitative statements about these contexts using mathematics. Understanding the mathematical modeling process is intertwined in both goals and will be a focus throughout the course.
