Catalog description

This course provides comprehensive coverage of film producing and distribution from development and preproduction through theatrical and digital release. Students will learn the practical, creative, and logistical aspects of creating and bringing films to market, examining both traditional studio systems and emerging independent distribution models. Through case studies, guest lectures, and hands-on projects, students will develop practical skills in preproduction, project packaging, financing, marketing, and distribution strategy.
