Catalog description
Students study the art and practice of directing for film. Students receive hands-on instruction via labs and work on student film productions. This course focuses on the production processes from the perspective of a director and develops the students' talent for this unique form of art. The course teaches students the creative and technical aspects of film directing and the various roles and responsibilities a director plays in creating a film or TV show. Prerequisites Film 208 and FILM 306.
