Directed Research

Catalog description

This course is intended for an Exercise Science student to pursue further study in a research project that is beyond or outside the scope of courses in the Exercise Science program. Students will provided with a research topic and will work independently under the supervision of a faculty advisor. It is expected that the student will produce a final product (e.g. final paper, presentation, abstract submission, literature article draft, lesson plan, etc.) at the end of the semester that is agreed upon by the student and faculty advisor and is commensurate with the number of units pursued.
