This workshop style course explores the evolving genre of creative nonfiction. The course provides instruction through reading, responding to, and writing creative nonfiction of diverse authorship and form. Writing assignments include a range of essays such as the personal essay, lyric essay, and literary journalism. Prerequisite: Engl 111. Recommended: Engl 202.
