Organization and Administration of PPS

Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the skills and knowledge needed for school counselors in K-12 institutions. Specifically, this course examines the organization and administration of guidance and counseling services in the schools, particularly highlighting the ASCA National Model and the ASCA Student Standards and domains of academic, career, and social/emotional development. Students will also learn about program planning, coordination, supervision, budgeting, and evaluation.
