Microskills in Counseling

Catalog description

This course develops candidates' knowledge and abilities in facilitating individual social emotional counseling skills in educational settings. Candidates explore techniques and tools used to counsel others. An emphasis will be placed on learning about mental health issues and interventions for students in crisis. Corequisite: EDCG 521. (Graded P/NC only).
