TAUGHT BY SFTS. In this course, we will look at stories, novels and films that portray human experience in its depths, including suffering and redemption. We will place literature and film in conversation with theology (including discussions of theodicy) and critical theory (as it pertains to literature and film); we will engage in practical theological reflection using these three mutually enriching sources. This is a hybrid course which has online components. Course meets daily, 7/1/19-7/5/19 (including July 4), from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at SFTS. [Admittance to SFTS DMin program]
