Catalog description
This course provides students with the opportunity to integrate and synthesize previous coursework in criminology and justice studies. Through an experiential learning project, students will draw on their foundational and core courses, and apply theory and knowledge to current and/or local problems pertaining to criminology and justice. Working with their instructor, students will identify a local community agency or non-profit organization working on a community issue, assess their current approach, and design a new intervention strategy.
