Catalog description

This course examines the role of race and ethnicity in crime, criminal behavior, and the United States criminal justice system. Students will evaluate how race and ethnicity influence victims and offenders' experiences in the U.S. criminal justice system including with law enforcement, courts, and correctional institutions. Furthermore, in this course students will explore the effects of race and ethnicity on victimization, criminalization, and among workers in the criminal justice system.
