Catalog description

This course examines the role of gender in crime, criminal behavior, and the United States criminal justice system. Students will evaluate how gender influences victims and offenders' experiences in the U.S. criminal justice system including with law enforcement, courts, and correctional institutions. Additionally, the course explores the effects of gender on victimization, criminalization, and among workers in the criminal justice system.
