Global Justice Systems

Catalog description

This course examines the laws and justice systems in different regions of the world. Through the examination of global social, political, legal, and economic contexts students will analyze how police, courts, and correctional institutions are organized and operate differently across the globe. Students will examine topics such as global, international, and transnational crime patterns, justice procedures, and punishment philosophies.
