Catalog description

This course introduces students to major research methods in criminology and justice studies. Students will learn how to conduct literature reviews, identify research questions, design research projects, and address important ethical issues. Additionally, students will learn how to conduct experiments, surveys, interviews, and content analysis. This course will also offer guidance when analyzing and interpreting data and reporting research findings. Through this course students will develop the knowledge, skills, and tools to conduct their own research projects.
