Catalog description

This course focuses on managing the design, control and operation of accounting information systems. The course starts with the general computer and cybersecurity controls that organizations have in place to ensure system integrity. It also educates students regarding important topics such as Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans. The course then examines the specific systems that companies use in several business cycles including the Revenue, Expenditure and Production (Inventory) cycles.
