Catalog description

This course is the first course of a two-part sequence of intermediate financial accounting. In this course students will advance their understanding of the principles and categories of information involved in the preparation of general-purpose financial statements. Students will survey Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including the effects on the balance sheet, on income, and on cash flows. Students will understand, and critically evaluate, the strengths and weaknesses of corporate financial reporting.
